About Diane

California Born, UX-Driven

A born and raised Southern California girl, I discovered User Experience when going to school to be a librarian. Organizing information was my gateway into discovering design.

At top tech companies like Meta, Amazon, and PayPal, I've designed experiences for billions, applying my product-driven approach to both consumer and B2B projects across mobile and web platforms. My expertise spans from crafting elegant user experiences to developing design strategies, product roadmaps, and organizational processes, all while maintaining a balance between business goals and user needs.

Here's a few ways I can help you:

  • Want to start a career in UX, but don't know where to start, or how to get hired. 👉🏼 I have online courses to address the typical UX hiring process, and how to create a UX Portfolio.
  • Not sure if your design work is good enough, and you want to improve your user experience skills. 🚀 I'll help you gain key skills with some of my online UX courses and articles.
  • You want to gain buy-in for your design vision and ideas from your cross-functional partners and have more influence at work. 😎 I'll share what has worked for me.

I didn't go to a design school. I learned everything on the job. I crafted a portfolio from a school project and went to conferences to meet people. I also didn't expect to have a tech career, I started at a design agency.

The industry is changing rapidly with the large amount of layoffs and the advent of generative AI. However, UX design skills are still needed to create unique products, and I'm here to support you in your learning journey.
